Words might describe me. Witch. Teacher. Activist. Human. But none of those are me. Instead, you’ll find me in the space between: the interstices, the energy flow, the dynamic bursts–the gestalt of me, rather than the definition of me.
A skilled writer grabs this feeling between the spaces, between the written words, and flings it to the reader to catch as she will, to perceive with her subconscious, to evoke feelings.
Similarly, a skilled priestess sets the container for energy to flow towards an intention, supports participants to perceive and feel, to look slant-wise and between the obvious, to move with the dynamic energy and tend it to change the worlds.
A skilled teacher widens the spaces between to allow discovery and growth, supports various modes of perception, offers a palette that contains nothing and everything from which people may create their world.
Often pagans and Witches create ceremony for full moon, for new moon, for Solstices and Equinoxes. Yet any day is ripe for magic. I’m writing this in between the full and new moons, between the Solstice and Equinox. I feel the pull and push of energy between these events. I’m writing between a major urban area and vast wilderness. I feel the push and pull of energy between these geographic areas.
I am writing in the space between me and all, between mundane and divine.
The space between is sacred space.
Where are you?
Who are you?
What is the taste of your energy?
What is your between?
