I’m co-offering an online, reimagined version of Elements of Magic, Reclaiming Tradition’s first core class. It begins mid-February and is already filling up. Morgana and I taught together in November at WorldWide Witchcamp. We’re excited to work together again to bring you this class.
Here’s the class blurb and a link to register if you’re interested:
Elements of Magic: Reimagined ~ online with BrightFlame & Morgana
Intention: We develop relationships with the Elements and learn from them
What does it mean to be kin with all beings? What is your relationship with the Elements of Air, Fire, Water, Earth, and Spirit? What do you offer to them in exchange for magic you receive? With curious minds, we will aim to de-center ourselves and explore a decolonized relationship with the Elements, seeking to expand a healthy and sustainable interconnection.
The Elements and the Land will be our teachers during this path. This class is suitable for beginners as we will build foundational skills; it is also for those with years of Reclaiming experience who want to further decolonize their magic, advance priestexing skills, and explore new forms.
The gateway to developing relationships with the Elements is to ask. Perhaps the Elements will also ask who we are and challenge our notions of “human” and “Witch” in relation to the web of all. We will confront our own biases about who/what the Elements are and how to relate with them in a decolonized way. We will listen to the Elements and discover their gifts and wishes for this group of humans.
