May We heal!
I’d planned to write an article about our potent, beautiful We, The Earth workshop. But today, I’m striving for steady amidst swirling and off-kilter energy. Amidst Hurricane Ida making landfall near New Orleans on the anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. Amidst Afghanistan kin—especially women—desperate to leave their country as the uber-fundamentalist regime takes over and the US evacuates. Amidst the wildfires burning vast areas of the West Coast on Turtle Island. My heart aches.
I’m breathing with Earth kin, human and non, across the world.
May We heal!
By We, I mean all living beings who share this planet. I mean Mama Earth, who reacts in hurricanes and floods and earthquakes and eruptions as is Her Nature, Her way to restore balance amidst this climate crisis.
By heal, I mean land regeneration, human attitudes, restorative justice.
I strive for balance, for steady, for groundedness. For resilience. For the delicious energy of the We, The Earth workshop. This, a prayer for world kin, human and non.
May We heal!
